Risk assessment on the basis of expediency of costs

Risk assessment on the basis of expediency of costs is caused by establishment of the potential areas caused by change of parameters of factors under the influence of again arising situations.

Area of risk is called the zone of the general losses of the market in which borders losses do not exceed extreme value of the established risk level.

Allocate five main areas of risk of activity of any enterprise in the conditions of market economy: risk-free area, area of a minimum risk, area of the increased risk, area of critical risk and area of unacceptable risk.

In borders area of critical risk losses which size exceeds the amount of settlement profit are possible, but does not exceed the total value of a gross profit. The risk coefficient in this area is in limits of 50-75%. Such risk is undesirable as the firm is exposed to danger to lose all the revenue from this transaction.

In borders of area of unacceptable risk the losses close to the size of own means, that is approach of complete bankruptcy of the enterprise are possible. The risk coefficient in this area is in limits of 75-100%.
